Up until fairly recently, I was a fairly successful IT Consultant and opera singer with very little of that stuff called “free time”. I still don’t have much free time but my job is now very different as a full time mum to a beautiful little girl.

I have never spent much time doing domestic duties. I worked two jobs so I’m the kind of person that paid “the man” to do things rather than do them myself but I don’t really want to teach that to my daughter. I want her to know that some things you have to work for before getting satisfaction from them, that sometimes you fail before you succeed and that TV is not an activity. In order to teach these things, I had better start living them myself

So, this is my journey to motherhood, personality improvement and learning about domestic duties! But I’m keeping my cleaning lady!
